More About Those Medals.

The Indiana Btate League Championship whioh was won by Evertt Brown last Friday consisted of 48 entries, and which he won by a score of 95 ont of a possible 100 birds The medal awarded Mr. Brown consists of a diamond watch oharm and has a cash value of $75. This he holds for one year, at the expiration of which time it will be shot for again at the next annual tournament of the State League, whioh will be held at Indianapolis some time in Jane 1904. Mr. Brown will then have another opportunity for winning it again. In the LaFayette Gun Clnbs contest there were 36 entries which Mr. Brown won on a score of 46 ont of 50 birds, and won it after having two ties, with a Mr. Flyn of Wabash and Mr. Lovengath of Lafayette. In the shoot off of the ties 25 birds were chosen whioh resulted in the soore of 21 for Flyn; 22 for Lovengnth and 23 for Brown. The medal awarded for this contest is a very fine one its value being something like S2OO and for the safe keeping of whioh the winner is always required to give bond in the snm of S2OO. It is a very pretty diamond affair, so arranged that it oan be worn as a badge or as a oharm. It was first shot for in 1892. -This medal will also be shot for again next year at the annal tonrnement of the Lafayette Gan, Clab, and the posessor of whfch gets 40 per oent of he entry fees, which this year amounted to about S9O.
