McCutcheon Goes to Tribune.

John T. MoCutoheon, whose oartoons have made him worldwide famous, severed bis connection with the Ohioago RecordHerald on June 7, and on July 1, will beoome a member of the Ohioago Tribune staff. The former Lafayette boy and Purdue graduate will receive a salary that is the highest ever paid to any cartoonist, and has been engaged by the Tribune people for the next three years. “Mao” will be paid $20,000 a year for his servioeß, and it is figured that he will average about SSO for each cartoon drawn by him. Mr. McCutcheon drew his last oartoon for the Re-cord-Herald for last Sunday’s issue. This week be starts on a three weeks’ automobile tour with George Ade in the latter’s maohine “The Little Whooping Cough.” He will begin work on the Tribune July 1
