Frank Asher, the well known Monon passenger brakeman, and Miss Evaleen Miller, of Rensselaer Ind.. were married Tuesday at at noon by Rey. Walter D. Cole at his home on North street Mr. and Mrs. Asher will make their home in Oklahoma City, Okla., where Mr. Asher will beoome a partner with his brother in the real estate business. They have the best wishes of a host of friends —Lafayette Call. The bride in the above described wedding is a daughter of Mrs. Sarah Miller, of our oity, and has been a well known sohool teaoher. The wedding was entirely private but was also a complete surprise, even the members of the bride’s family not knowing that it was to take place for several weeksyet. The newly mars ied-ooupl® have gone to St. Louis, and that place, and not Oklahoma City will, as we are informed, be their future residence. And, as we are further informed, he will oontinue in the railroad business, on a run from St. Louis to Kansas City.
