County Health Officer Washburn found what be pronounoed a 1 dear oaae of smallpox, at Remington, Friday afternoon, when oalled over there to investigate the matter The snbjeot is a six year old girl, the daughter of Mrs. Geofrge Meyers. The case is not at all seyere and as the premises were plaoed under quarantine there is but little danger of the disease spreading any further. , From statements made it appears that the obild contracted the disease while-playing with: children in a family north of Burning.-, ton, which children had what was supposed to be ohioken-pox.
