Auditor Has No Vote.
The election of coanty sohotl superintendents will held Mobday in the ninety-two oopntiee of the state. In reply to a question asked by F. A. Cotton, superintendent of public instruction, of the attorney general as to-whether a county auditor may have a deciding vote in-sn election where one half of the trustees present vote for one man and the other half scatter their votes, tbe ruling was that the auditor can only vote in case of a tie, and under these circumstances no tie could result In this county no tie could possi bly result ts there are thirteen trustees, an even division being impossible. And besides that, L. H. Hamilton the present superintendent has given such universal satisfaction that it is doubtful if ft single voteT ifToßßt against him
