A Temperance Fourth of July.
The Indiana Anti*Liquor League will try to make Indiana’s Fourth of July oelebrations this year dear water affairs. The State officers are adyising the local Anti-Saloon League workers, all over the State to prepare to hold or oontrol the Fourth of July oelebrations in their towns and cities this year. Nothing stronger than ioe water is to be used at these celebration and the saloon is to be fought with remonstrances, as the birthday of the nation is oelebrated. The reoommendation of the State league officers is being generally adopted. Methodists in the Kokomo district of the Northern Indiana Conference have arranged to open a summer oampaign against the saloons in Hamilton, Tipton, Cass, Miami, Wabash and Howard counties and make a speoial feature of anti-saloon Fourth of July celebrations in most of the thirty townß and cities in the district.
