Vaccination, Not Concealment, The Only Way.

Some of our business men are disposed to find fault with The Republican because it gives the news about the epidemio. This is a mistaken idea upon their part, The news that the disease was here would have gone out all over the county and surrounding towns just the same if every newspaper here had suspended publication the day the existence of the disease was officially announced. Every juror and witness at the court house oarried the news, and every tele phone line into the oountry spreads it. More than that the exoited and irresponsible reports that have gone out over the’ telephones have given the oountry people an idea that is muoh worse than the reality, and this exaggerated idea will be oorreotedby the full and truthfu statements they will find in this paper. Moreover, it is only by making known the faots as they are, and proclaiming the benefits of vaooination, that the people here have been convinced of its neoefsity, and have gone to the doctors’ offices by hundreds and had it done. ,
