Guards At Every House.
From now on every quarantined house ini town will have a sworn guard before it, night and day, and no one will be allowed to go in or out. nor will the members of the quarantined households be permitted to walk to the front, rear or side lines of their premises and talk with ‘neighbors and passers by. v The City Council discussed this matter Mop, night at their meeting, and decided to back the ’mayor and health officer in appointing and stationing thebe guards. There are nine quarantined houses, bat only eight guards are requiredfor eaoh shift, as two or these houses are close together and one guard serves far hnth. The guards will be in two shifts, for day and night, The day guards were all appointed and stationed before 10 o’clock Tuesday morning They are, Wm. (loss, John Ramey, Wm Childers, John Hoffman, Joe Hoover, Jerome Harmon, J. P. Simonda, Jesse Niohols. Xbey'tare sworn in as speoial policemen and have power to arrest anyone refusing to obey their orders,
