Small Smallpox Notes.

Another Riohards that has the disease is John Kichards, at Pleasant Ridge. Himself and family have been quarantined by County Health Offioer, I. M. Washburn. The Bell telephone exohange was dosed for several hours Sunday night, while the whole plaoe was thoroughly fumigated. The court room and jury rooms were fumigated Monday morning by Dr. Kreiler. All the families who have been quarantined are observing it faithfully, and taking the matter In a reasonable and good-natured way. Rensselaer people have been vaooinated by the hundreds Saturdap and today. Saturday night the supply]of virus ran out but more was ordered from Chicago, and 200 points came this morning. The City Council held a speoial smallpox meeting Saturday- They resolved to back the health offioer in everything he may do to suppress the oontagion. As per notice given by the city clerk, elsewhere. The energetic measures that have been taken will soon stamp out the oontagion.
