Captain Washburn, of Company M., 3rd regiment, Indiana National Guard, have reoeived officials notiqp that the U. 8. Army inspector, Capt. Alford, will be here on Monday May 18th, to begin the inspection of the oompany, preparatory to their beooming a part of the national army. Oapt. Alford will be accompanied by 001. Stndebaker, of South Bend, oommander of the 3rd regiment.
