A Serviceable Horse Stocks.

M. L. Hemphill, the Front street blacksmith and wagon repairer, has long had a horse stocks of his, « own invention in his shop, in whioh be has bandied, all told, hundreds of wild and dangerous horses, and never had an aooident or injured a horse. He took out a patent years ago, but never tried to put them on the market, because of their somewhat cumbersome character, and consequent lack of expedition in handling. He has lately, however devised a ranch simpler and easier and quicker handled stocks, whioh work with entire suooess, and whioh if put on the market and properly pushed can no doubt be made a commercial suooess. He has taken out a caveat on these new stocks and will apply for a patent in due time.
