Constable Vick served another ejectment writ for Gifford, Wednesday. issued by Squire TroxelL The party ejected was Henry Hochbaum, and be was on farm in Walker Tp. He went to ShelbyThe constable found the dirt roads hub deep in mud, and the gravel roads also badly cut up. He was from 10 o’clock p. m. till three o’clock m. coming from Kniman to Rensselaer, a distance of 14 miles. ~: ——— .—' A replevin case to be tried Saturday before Squire Troxell, is that of Mrs Rhoda Rutherford vs Firman Rutherford, the parties being mother and son. The property at issue is three cows and a stove. Firman had the property, but his mother took it on writ of replevin, bu‘ gave the necessary bond. The case will be tried Saturday, at 10 a m ~ Another Jordan Tp. case, also _before. _Bquire Troxell,_is- < suit for damages by Vincent Eisle, an already noted litigant, against his tenant, Ben Smith, for SIOO. Damages to fruit trees etc. is alleged. Also set for trial Saturday.
