Harry Gifford and Earl Newland were in Rensselaer Saturday, * A. B. Dunfee went to Chicago Heights Monday on business. T, M. Callahan was in Rensselaer Monday. About 30 or 40 friends and neighbors gathered at the home of Theodore DeMoss, west of Newland with well filled baskets to give them a surprise supper Thursday evening, Feb, 19th. A. B. Dunfee and family returned from Etna Green Thursday where they have been visiting friends for the last three weeks. Miss Nora Baker, of Rensselaer, spent Friday and Saturday with her cousins, Misses Myrtle and Versa Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Nate Richards, of Pleasant Grove, visited the latter’s mother, Mrs. Russel, Sunday.
