A Saturday Evening Wedding.
There was a quiet wedding in town last Saturday evening, Feb. 21st, about 5 o’clock It took place at the residence of .Judge C. W. Hanley, who performed the ceremony. The parties were Mr. P. L. Mattes, of Chicago, and Miss Floy Grant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Grant, of Rensselaer. Only the contracting couple and the Judge and family were present. The groom was formerly bookkeeper on the Nelson Morris ranch near DeMotte, and is now an assistant manager in one of the Morris packing houses, in Chicago.
