Newland Mr. and Mrs. James Snyder and granddaughter are visiting their daughters Mrs. Dennis Brooks and Mrs. James Harley. Born to Mr. and Mrs. James Hur ley, Saturday. Feb. 14, a ten pound Ttriy- ■ : • V- ■■■ Taylor Woods, of Parr, was seen on our streets Friday. Earl Newland and Francis Hullihan were in Rensselaer last Thursday. Ivor McCormick, of Chioago, is visiting his wife and little son, east of town. Charley Page was called to Stouts, burg on account of his sister’s illness. Miss Arlie Stevens who has been s staying with her sister, Mrs. Harry Gifford, for some time past, returned to her home at Hersher, 111. Monday. Mrs. McCormick, of 111., who has been visiting her daughter in law returned home Monday. Miss Day Jordan visited her parents over Sunday. Charley Martin, of Lee, is visiting his brother, George Martin for a few days. Fred Newland is working-for Harry Gifford. The masquerade ball was well attended. Miss Maggie Houts was rewarded the prize for the nicest masked lady. Tom Callahan and Harry Gifford for the nicest masked gentlemen, as the two were masked alike. All reported a good time;
