Mohler Was Discharged.
John Mohler was released from custody at noon Saturday, by Judge Hanley. The affidavit under which he was arrested was held bad Friday, but the Judge gave the state until noon Saturday, to file a new one, and that not being done he was discharged. The affidavit was signed by the Jasper Guy, of Remington, as a deputy prosecuting attorney, whereas, at the time a letter from the Prosecuting Attorney was on file stating that he had no diputies in either county in the circuit. Mohler and Nessel, with whom he had the gun play, are brothers inlaw and besides the prescriptive right whioh such relationship gives to settle their difficulties in their own way, they also live in the northeast corner of Jordan tp., where the people are a law unto themselves, anyhow.
