Field Day To Be Held Here.

Prof. Head lee was over at Montioello Saturday, to meet with the rest of the High School Athletic, Musical and Oratorical Association, committee to complete arrangements for the meeting for this year. It will be held at Rensselaer, and the date provisionally selected is May 15th, but that is subject to revision by Rensselaer if some other date would be moreconvenient as entertainers! AU five of the schco's iu the Assocition will be represented in all three of the lines of competition; Namely Athletics, Oratory and Musio.- The schools now belonging are Fowler, Goodland, Monticello, Remington and Rensselaer. It is understood that Kentland, Delphi, Lowell and Hammond will be, or have been invited to join, if they so desire. Some few changes were made by the committee Saturday in Athietio matters. The weight of the hammer and shot was reduced from 16 to 12 pounds, which last is the regular high school weight; and a 35 yards dash and a standing broad jump were added to the events. A firfal meeting of the oommittee will will be held at Goodland on May 2nd.
