Water Was Bad But Is All Right Now.

Rensselaer’s heretofore irreproachably pore water has at last been Chicagoized. A dam lately bnilt across Makemself ditch, by th'e contractor for the sewer, eloee to the water station, bad baoked filthy water in the ditoh back tnrongh the over-flow pipes ymd into the wells whioh supply our oity waterworks This result was not discovered until Tuesday night, and before it was discovered the diteh water, to an nnknown amount, had been pumped into the water taipk and from there passed into the water mains. The oity health Dr. Eresler, at once took 'steps to have the offending dams removed. After that was done the water in the tank and mains was let out andjpure water pumped in. This was done Thursday forenoon and the water now is pure wholesome again.
