HOUSE IN WHICH LINCOLN DIED GOING TO DECAY.
The rapid decay of the house in Washington in which Abraham Lincoln died is attracting public attention, and it is probable that something will be done to preserve it. It contains the Oldroyd collection of. Lincoln relics, and until recently was in the care of private tenants, who charged a small admission fee to visitors. Now it is in the care of a society, but nothing, ha* been done to preserve or repair the~AVgitt~br the interior. The Rouse Ts directly across the street from the site of Ford’s Theater, where Lincoln was shot.
