The Carnegie Library.

The City Council Monday night passed a resolution regarding the proposed Carnegie Library. Tbe resolution recites that the council will do all in their power, under the laws as they now are, or may hereafter bd, towards meeting the conditions attaohed by Mr. Carnegie, when a satisfactory site is secured. A committee or public library was appointed, consisting of FergusQn* McColly and Attorney Williams.
