A Sad and Sudden Death.

Mrs. Nelly Hodehire, wife of John C. Hodehire, died at 11 o’clock on Monday forenoon, at her home on Cedar street. The cause of her death was puerperal hemorrhage, and it came, as deaths sometimes do m such oases, with the suddeness almost of a lightning stroke, and bb impossible for medical skill to forsee or prevent. The child was premature and still-born. Mrs. Hodshire’e full name before marriage was Leathe Ellen Marion, j and her age was 36 years, 9 months, J 21 days, and Rensselaer wws her birth place. She was married Oct. 4th, 1885, and was the mother of 9 ohildren 6 of whom survive her. Her mother is now Mrs. Alkanab Galbreath, who also survives her. The funeral will be held Wednesday.
