Should Be Held To Their Contract.
George and William Wallace were here Saurtday from Lafayette trying to work some bluff on the school authorities, whereby they might escape the necessity of making good their contract for an effective school house heating plant. That they were hard up for an excuse is evident from the fact that they claimed, in effect, that a few window stops loose in the old building would prevent the beating of the new building. They also are demanding that the school board floor the attic in one of the buildings. If the attic isn’t floored now, neither was it when they took the contract. They took the contract at a good price and no doubt made a good profit, and they ought to be held to it now and compelled to make it good. There is no doubt but that with sufficient radiation the buildings oan be amply heated.
