A Bank at Mt. Ayr.
The prosperous village of Mt, Ayr, 8 miles west of Rensselaer is soon to have a bank, and largely owned by Rensselaer people. E. L. Hollingsworth, A. Parkison and J. M. Wasson, of the Commercial State Bank, of Rensselaer, and George Sigler and son J. E. Sigler, of Mt. Ayr, are the-organizera. It is expected the bank will open about Feb, Ist, and, temporarily at least, will be located in Siglers’ general store. J. E. Sigler will be in charge.
