Hurrah For Steam Heat.

The, as yet, uncured inability of the new heating plant to warm the school houses on cold days, even when helped out by wood stoves, has caused one of the 6th room little girls to shiver out the following poem. “Harrah for steam heal I"' The school board cried, the school board cried, When first that kind of heat they tried. “Hurrah for steam heat!” “Hurrah for steam heat!” They changed their minds, they their minds. There’s heat of many, many kinds, “Hurrah for steam heat!” “Hurrah for steam heat!” Small stoves are good, small stoves are goed, But not so fine, for they burn wood. Hurrah for steam heat! “Hurrah for steam heat!” Stoves in our room, stoves in our room, Steam ‘’heat” is colder than a tomb; So goodbye, steam heal!
