Mackey & Barcus Have Dissolved.

Rensselaer’s widely known granite and marble monument firm of Mackey & Barcus has dissolved, by the retirement of the last named member, George Barous, His other business, that of manufacturing and selling the Barous patent horse stocks has so greatly increased that he now finds it advisable to devote all his time to it. W. H. Mackey, the artistic designer and stone carver of the firm, will continue the business alone. There is probably no other monument firm in any of the northwest counties of the state which has as wide and well-deserved a patronage ’as this Rensselaer firm has. Their work may be found in cemeteries not only all over Jasper county, but also in Newton, White Lake and other neighboring counties. The excellent and artistic work which has gained the firm this extended reputation will be ! fully kept up by Mr. Maokey.
