Death of Alfred Anderson.
Alfred Anderson, commonly known as Whisky Anderson, died about two o’clock, last Friday' morning, Jan. 9th at his home near the depot. He has been in poor health for q uite a long time past, from a complication of kidney, stomach and other trouble, resulting from excessive and long continued use of alcoholic liquor. In fact it is stated that he has been addicted to the use of liquor ever since his early childhood. He was born in Sweden, was 38 years old and leaves a widow and two children by her and one by a former wife. The latter being a daughter, aboutNH years old, whose home is in Streator, 111. The funeral was held at the residence at 10:30 a. m. Saturday, by Rev. T. A. Hall, pastor of the Christian church! Internment in Weston ceremony.
