Rensselaer Semi-Weekly Republican, Volume 35, Number 37, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 13 January 1903 — Kicked Twice in the Same Place. [ARTICLE]
Kicked Twice in the Same Place.
Ray, ths 7 or 8 years old son of John Renicker, of the fruit farm north of town, was kicked over the eye, Sunday afternoon by a colt, and quite severly injured. He has a deep long cut but Dr. English his physician, does not think the skull was fractured, nor that" the injury will prove dangerous unless blood poisoning or other complications should set in The blow rendered the boy unconscious for some time. He is the same little chap that was kicked by a mule, about. two years ago and very nearly the saipe place as this time. The former injury, however was much more severe and dangerous than this one seems likely to be.
