Some Important New Bills

Senator Lindley, of Hamilton county, has introduced a bill to prevent the marriage of consumptives, criminals, epileptics, prisoners and pauper women under 50. He thinks it is time for people, through the laws to begin to take something like as much pains in raising people as they do in breeding stock. He also wants men who marry under the stress of patrenity proceedings to be put under fl,ooo bonds to prevent them running away after the wedding. A bill is to be introduced extending the terms of all present township assessors until 1906, to pre! veht the county and township assessors all going out at the same time.
