Must Pay Poll Tax to Vote.

An amendment to the present election law providing that no voter who is delinquent in his poll tax shall be allowed to cast a ballot at any election will be offered f&f the consideration of the coming legislature. The proposed amendment will it is thought, do much to rid the state of the floater. The demand for effective legislation against the floater which will put, him out of politics and destroy his ability to cause trouble is general all over the state and 'comes from both parties.
