Over Two Thousand Dollars.
The final session of the Catholic fair, given for the benefit of the new parochial school, was held Friday evening it being an adjourned session from the previous week. A large crowd was in attendance, at this last session, as at all the previous ones, and many articles were sold, or otherwise disposed of. The three large prizes went to the following persons. Road wagon, to Merritt Strain, of Fair Oaks. Overcoat, Rev. John Guendling, of Peru, Ind. Lap-robe, to Lewis Arnold. The total gross receipts of the entire fair, including Friday night, amount to the very large sum of $2 COO. The net proceeds, above all expenses, will be about $1,700.
