We Get More Coal Than Anybody.
Rensselaer has been unusually I fortunate in the matter, of coal supply this fall and wintt r as compared with other towns. The dealers bad considerable amounts of hard coal left over from shipments received last spring, and besides that the dealers here have been in great good fortune in getting early shipments of hard coal siuce the strike ended. Not less than seven oar loads of bard coal have already been received by the different dealers, and several other cars have been shipped and are expected to arrive any day. The extent of this good fortune for Rensselaer can be better appreciated when compared with other towns in the vicinity, such as Kentland, for instance, where up to the beginning of this week, not a pound of hard coal had been received this season Remington when last beard from had received just one car of hard coal. There has net been trouble here either in getting all the soft coal needed, including the better grades which many towns have ound it hard to get.
