A Successful School Entertainment.

The entertainment given by the lower grades of the oily schools, Friday evening, at the opera house, to, raise money to pay for their piano, was a great success. The various teachers interested bad selected their talent wisely and drilled them carefully. Therefore all parts of the program were finely carried out, and the result was a very pleasing entertainment indeed ; and one whioh the very large audience freely expressed their appreciation of. The attendance was very the entire house in faQt, up stairs and down, and although the prioes of admission were low the financial results will exceed the most sanguine expectations- The exact figures in that respect oan not now be given, but the net proceeds will fall little if any below SSO, clear of all expenses.
