Two Engines Smashed Up.

Train No. ,4 of Monday, due here at 4:30 a. m. north bound, and six hours late, had trouble all along the line. After being delayed four hours by a freight wreok, south of Bloomington, it got into on it own account, at Lafayette. Its engine and a heavy freight engine collided in the yards at Lafayette and both engines were completely wrecked, They met in a side by side collision, at the intersection of the main track and a side track, but fortunately neither engine was running very fast, otherwise the wreok might have entailed loss of life, also. As it was no one was hurt. The engine men all jumped off, and the oars of the passenger train did not leave the track.
