Indiana’s Intelligent Farmers.
I was impressed with one thing while campaigning in Indiana this fall, said Robert J. Traoewell, comptroller of the currenoy, and that was the intelligence of the farmers. What is true of Indiana is true, I have no doubt, of most of the states. They are the people in this country who are really well posted on public questions. The people of the cities and towns are not to be compared with them. The farmer of today reads and he reflects. He knows what is going on in the world and he does not depend upon anyone to draw conclusions for him. Washington oor. Indianapolis News.
