The City Council.
G. A. Strickfaden was granted his city saloon license for one year from Deo. 14, 1902, on payment of the lioense fee of $250. Ellis Walton presented the deed for his 15 inoh 38 foot strip and was allowed his SSO therefor. Treasurer Chapman reported balanoes on hand; Corporation fund $190.07; Water fund $1,200.88. Light fund, $44.20. The Road fund is over-drawn $14.00. Fire Chief Hopkins reported 13 firemen at the laundry fire, Monday, and they were allowed $2.50 eaoh. A not every unlncky thirteen that time. The Fire ohief reported that the hydrants needj,repaoking and oiling, and h« was direoted to do the work. He was .authorized to buy a dozen smoke protectors for the firemen. Some 33 claims were allowed, above those allowed to the firemen.
