During his stay there last winter Ernest Cockerill, of our town, became acquainted with Wesley Reynolds, the 16 year old boy who was killed by robbers at Westville, Sunday morning, while bravely defending his employers bank. The young fellow was abput the most popular young man ‘in the town. The murderers escaped in a rig stolen from John Herrold. They were tracked to near where they abandoned the horse and buggy. It is believed the men may have been able to board a Pennsylvania train, although they were handicapped by having an injured man with them.
