No Half Rates to Voters This Year.

The Central Passenger association has notified the managers of the varions political parties in this state that it will not give the usual half-rate to voters who desire to go home to vote this year. In past campaigns the association, which has absolute control of rates in this state, has always granted a half-rate to voters supplied with certificates. This year, however, the jnen who are away from home and want a chance to vote will have to pay the foil fare. The aotion of the passenger association will have the effect of probably cutting down the vote in Indiana this year by several thousand. There are many students in the colleges of the state every year for whom provision has always been made to go home to vote. If a full fare is demanded by the railroads, however, this means that many of the students will have to give up the privilege, as they cannot afford the expense.
