At the Other Fellow’s Expense., Judge Thompson, with chttrao- , teristio gratitude towards the Republican party, which has done so muoh for him, is now out basiling to beat a part of the oounty ticket, ( and a big part of it too if he shottid succeed in induoing any considerable number of Republicans to go I to cutting and slashing their | tickets. For half of those who try to ecratoh two or three names, pretty nearly or quite spoil their whole ticket before they get through. “Jedge” has got out a lot of circulars of his own peculiar brand of composition, and signs them "A FRIEND OF DRAINAGE.’ If he had, instead, signed them “A Friend of Drainage at the other feller’s expense,” he would have got the signature aboqt right.
