Lee and East Jasper.
The Young People’s Club met at Mr. G-ilmore’s’Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs, T. P. Jacks and daughter Ida were in Rensselaer Tuesday. Quite a few are working on our new church foundation. We thiak the wedding bells will chime in this vicinity ere long. Quite a serious and exciting aoin this village Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Oozly after filling two lamps had lit them to see if they were trimmed right the blaze being too high caught on an electric ball which was hanging above it and the lamps exploded. The house caught on fire and Mrs. Oozly was burned badly on the back and from waist to her knees. Very serious fears are entertained for her recovery
