Competent judgqs will pass upon the quality of the corn and the prizes will be awarded according to their judgement. We invite the Farmers in the vicinity of Rensselaer to enter this contest.

The Prizes to be given are as follows. For the Best Four Ears of Con we will give A Fine Gold Watch. For the Second Best Fort Ears of Con we will give.. Five Gai, of Our Best Ready Mixed Barn Paint. For the Third Best Four Ears of Con we will give a 251 b Pail of Long’s Condition Powder.

To enter this contest, bring us FOUR EARS of the Best Com you have got. The Conditions of the Contest are as follows; Ist That no person other than actually engaged in fanning can enter the contest 2nd. All samples of Con most be tied by the Husks, and have a tag with your name on same. 3rd. That all samples most be left ben not later than November Ist, IW2.
