Moore vs Porter Case Settled.

There will’be no further trouble in the courts over the case of W. E. Moore vs Mrs. Rebecca Porter, which was still pending on a motion for a new trial, by the plaintiff. It has been satisfactorily’ Settled by the parties. Mr. Moore has now taken the property in question, paying the balance due thereon, $2,000, as per the original contract, with interest on the said $2,000 from March Ist, 1901, to the present time, and he receiving credit for the SSOO paid when' the contract was made, the price of \he property being $2500. The property which consists of a good residence on Van Rensselaer street had already been rented to Dr. Merrill, whose family Will join him from Hammond, next week, ■. ? 3TB
