Total Eclipse of the Moon

There will be a total eclipse of the moon next Thursday night and Friday morning Oct. 16th and 17tb, the first total eclipse of the moou visible here for a number years past. It will occur rather late at night, the entrance of the moon into the earth’s shadow beginning here about 10 o’clock p. m., or a little after, Thursday night. The total phase will begin about 11 p. m. and end about half an hour after midnight, Friday morning. It will be the only eclipse of any kind visible here this year.
