Contract for bridge in Keener Tp., given to Pan American Bridge Co., for 545, and for one to Jordan to Attica Bridge Co., for 458. For moving a bridge in Gillam to Winamac Bridge Co, foi $172. The report in the proposed Sonth Barkley gravel road was referred back to viewers and committee, for amendment; said amended report to be refiled on or before Bov. Ist. _S. T. Comer, Chas. Harrington and L. Strong, appointed other reviewers in the Hutchinson ditch case. Geo. B. Parkison, N. Eldredge and Frank Lakin, appointed viewers in Burns ditoh. T. F. Maloney resigned as viewer in the Iroquois ditoh and Albert Foster, of Lowell, was appointed in his place. Gant & Bullis were given contract for a cut-off to straighten Carpenter’s creek, for $560, of which the townehip pays $75, and settles all claims for damages. The gravel road election in Hanging Grove is set for November 4th at general election. Trustee Arnold, of Barkley, was direct to repair abutment of Moore bridge, oounty to pay oost above $75. In accordance with the report of the grand jury, plans are ordered for a new heating plant for the jail. Robert Parker ditoh petition, J. M. Wasson, R. B. Harris, J. T. Randle appointed viewers.
