That Talked-of Electric Road.

Mention has been made of the fact that.tfia town council of Remington bad granted a right of way for an eleotria railroad, and that it was thought, over there, that there was quite a favorable prospect for the project materializing. Robert Parker, the leader in so many enterprises, is also the head mover in this. He is especially seeking to interest Lafayette capital in the project. The proposition, 0 far as it has taken any definite shape, contemplates an electric railroad that will start from Lafayette and pass through Remington and on to Rensselaer; and ultimately perhaps on to Hammond, where it could connect with an electric road into Chicago already in operation.
