Mrs. Clias. Pcpe is visiting friends In Chicago this week. Daniel Clark went to Sidney, O , last week and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Clark of that place accompanied him home for a visit. The Young People’s Club met with Miss Ida Jacks last Saturday evening. The Clcb having no meeting for several weeks was much pleased to be together again. An enjoyable time was had by all, Willis Lutz had a runaway Tuesday morning and the wagon ran over bis leg, breaking it below the knee He was driving a broncho which he had recently bought and was breaktug it. Mis, Jennie Rishling visited Mrs. Porter, of Rensselaer last week and attended conference Friday and Saturday. School began Monday with Sam Noland teacher. Mrs, Carrotbers was called to Chi cago last Friday. Rev. Clark of Monon will preach at Lee Sunday at 2 p. m. Misses Arty Gilmore and Ivah Carrotbers entered upon the Sophouora Y’earin the Monon High School Monday. The movement has started to erect a Methodist church here. Trustees have been appointed and they are now taking subscriptions.
