Miss Hazel Drake is attending school at Monon. Mrs. Fulks and son Clyde went to Indianapolis Wednesday morning to attend the state jfair and visit Mrs. Fulks’ sister. Grandma Hull is staying with Mabel while they are gone. Frank Baily went to 111. a few days ago, and it was reported that he and Miss Jennie Day were married. Frank and Chas Peregrine and John Lehman have returned home from their trip to Dakota. A carriage load of the Eib and Peregrine family went visiting Sunday. ‘ Last Monday Mrs. Stalker was driving on the road west of Bonta, when her horse shied at one of the little narrow crossings, causing the side of the buggy to miss *he crossing and Mrs, Stalker to be thrown out. She had a hard fall and is at present unable to use her arm. The borse not being used to traveling alone went «n a short distance, and stopped at the only place she had tied on that road, and waited quietly until her driver came to get her. Roy English has brought home Ills threshing machine.
