Convicts Write Two Books.

Warden Ried of the prison at Michigan City, has made a unique contribution to the literature of the state. He recently requested each life oonvict to write his own version of the deed that cost him his liberty. Some of the stories are weird and nearly all are ghastly, but every writer tries to justify himself. The stories indicate that the prisoners have not lost hope and the book has given them a desired opportunity to puttheir ride in print. The work is in two volumes.
