Surprise Birthday Dinner.

Sunday was the occasion of a very'pleasant surprise dinner given by Mrs. C. L. Thornton on her husband. It was Mr. Thornton’s thirty-seventh birthday. All things were cleverly arranged by Mrs. Thornton and when her busband came home from the lignt plant at noon she bad a long table loaded with good things to eat and a large company of guests. The surprise was complete. All en joyed the splendid prepared meal and had a good time generally and departed wishing Mr. Thornton many happy returns of the day.
