Another Fire Alarm.

Another fire alarm was turned in last Wednesday at 9:15 a. m. The fire was located in the furnace and oven situated in the rear of J. A. Brenner’s restaurant on Washington street. It was discovered by Mrs. Brenner, who immediately gave the alarm. Plenty of help was at hand and by prompt action the fire was got under control before the arrival of the fire department, which reepounded immediately and got ready for action, but found their services unnecessary. The fire originated from a defective wall in the furnace of the oven, from which a number of bricks had fallen, and the fire ignited the studding, following these to the roof. No loss of any amount was caused by the fire.
