The Foresters’ Picnic.
The Catholic Order of Forester* will have a big time here next Sunday. A special train from Chicago will arrive about 10 a. m. and it is expected it will bring 500 to 600 persons. After attending 10 o’clock mass at St. Augustine’s church the visitors will repair to the grounds of St. Josephs* college which will be thrown open for their use. Among the features of the day will be the oonfering of the Foresters Exalted Degree, upc 3 10 local candidates, by one of the best degree teams in the order, from Chicago. Meals, both dinner and supper, will be served in the college basement, at 25 cents. The net proceeds of the excursion and meals will be divided equally between theiocal courtof Forestersand the new parochial school. The excursion rate is only $1.25 for the round trip, open to anyone.
